About 1776

About the Owner

I have been painting since I was 13 years old helping out my father on the weekends. In 2008, I graduated from The Art Institute of Boston with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts. Throughout my career, I worked for different local contracting companies out of Rhode Island and Massachusetts. For 22 years I invested my time and energy into paint companies that ultimately only cared about one thing, money. Money came before everything else; the product, customer service, quality of life even. I have always had a great passion for painting and craftsmanship, for interior design and color theory. Paint has the ability to not only transform a space, but to impact emotions as well. A cozy porch ceiling with a fresh coat of baby sky blue or a young girls bedroom painted a warm inviting shade of pink. When I am not working, I love spending time with my beautiful wife Missy and our 2 year old daughter Aurora, taking trips down to the beach and stopping for ice cream.
